Too often we downplay
or don’t even acknowledge our Success.
I used to be guilty of this as well, but no longer. I have come to know the power of keeping a Success Journal. Big or small, it is important to notice the success you have and realize that you created it. Once you learn of the Law of Attraction and come to realize the power of your thought you will want to keep track of your success at creating with those thoughts. The more you notice your successes the more you will have. It’s Law of Attraction at it’s best!
Like attracts like. Success attracts success. The more you are aware of the success you have in creating, the more success you will create. Pretty simple, but it does take a little bit of work to start to be aware of all the success you are actually having. We are so busy looking for that big payout that we overlook the smaller successes. We put things off as coincidence. Well, I have really come to know that there is no such thing as coincidence.
Lately I have had a lot of little successes that I know I would have just glanced over before or just thought I got lucky. Simple things like a scheduled appointment that was putting me into overwhelm… suddenly gets canceled. A Client that I took on that I knew was not a match to me, but I didn’t want to say “no”, changed their mind and canceled with me. Now, some people might feel put off by the Client canceling, but I created it by knowing that we were not a match. Not being able to get in to sign up at the Gym, only to get there a day later, and right on time for a new promotional discount offer. These are small wins, which at first may not even appear as a win. But, the outcome was for my higher good and therefore a success. The more you take notice of these, and write them down in a journal, the more of them will come. And when you are vibrating to successes the sky is the limit. You start to expect them. EXPECTATION, that is really big. If you expect success you get it. If you expect disappointment or failure guess what, you get it.
My favorite success story is one that happened this past week.
I was coaching a Client, I always ask for wins at the beginning of the call. My client struggled to think of any. He was too focused on not having reached his goal for the past week of meeting a targeted date to get two incomplete cycles completed and his attention off of them so that he can move to his next creation. Well as I was coaching him and I was guiding him back on track he suddenly happened on a “little win” as he put it.
The reason he was taken off his target from completing these two goals was because he needed to deliver a Trailer Home to Portland Oregon, 5 hours from where he lives in California. His Uncle, who also lives in California, had just had a kidney transplant and needs his trailer home to live in during his recovery so that he could be close to the Hospital and Doctors where he had his surgery. This whole thing was spur of the moment. When a kidney is available you have next to no time to be sure you can get to the hospital to receive it.
How could he say no to this request. So he drove the Trailer Home up to Portland on Monday, wasn’t sure how he would get home, if needed he would rent a car to get back, but then it turned out his Step Son was returning from Germany to Portland where he had left his car and would be driving back down to California on Wednesday.
Prior to all of this my Client had been speaking to a person who was selling a very particular car. He spoke to this guy over the past few weeks. There are only 3 available on the whole West Coast. My Client wanted this car for a while, he had saved up enough money for the Blue Book value of the car. He had a few things come up in which he needed to dip into that money and now was left with only 1/3 of it. But, never mind he was still focusing on having this particular car, it’s a strong desire of his. Well to shorten the story… his Uncle could not be released from the Hospital until Thursday so he will miss the ride back to California on Wednesday.
But now here is the best part. Across the street from the Trailer Park is one of these cars that he has been desiring. My Client went over to see about the car. Wouldn’t you know it, it was the very same guy who he had been speaking to for a few weeks about this very particular car. It was right there across the street from the Trailer Grounds. This is the car he had been speaking about, there it is parked right across the street. This Trailer park was in a very secluded area, there wasn’t much around. Except for THE car. Being that this Seller is so out of the way and cannot get much traffic to his lot, my Client was able to purchase the car for 1/3 the Blue Book Value, exactly the amount money he had left. And to top it all off, he now had a way to get back home.
I was jumping out of my chair. Little win, OMG, more like huge win! No one could have ever orchestrated that series of events if they tried. But, the Universe, all that is, call it what you want, orchestrated this whole event to such an amazing all around WIN. It wasn’t until I acknowledged this win for him that he truly felt the power of it. He was just glancing over it, didn’t even think of it when I asked him for his wins. He drove home on Thursday, I coached him on Friday. His focus was so much on him missing his desired deadline, through circumstances that he had no real choice to refuse.
Everything is Co-Created, so there was a lot in play. His Uncle was only placed on the donors list a week before, they thought it could be a year before a kidney would be available and they had no idea where it would be when it came available. Think about all of that. That is one HUGE win!
So we celebrated that for a bit, I’m still celebrating it. Then we moved his deadlines back a week, he was back on track and vibing extremely high. Boy, do I love my Job!
Pay attention to your successes, right them down, really feel them, get used to that feeling of success, let it grow and go out and create your life.
